(Purple skirt: H&M Trend (shortened), Plaid top: Peter Jensen, white pumps: River Island, gold necklace: Forever21, Mulberry handbag) #teenvogue
I have worn this skirt for a post before, however, since giving it a rather severe cut and hem I felt the need to whip it out again. I think this length is far more suitable for everyday wear, grandma skirt length was a little harder to wear. However, for those who don't agree and enjoyed the length before I was released on it with scissors and a spare afternoon, I sat in bird poops while taking these pictures. Does the good luck/ bird poop thing only apply for a direct hit from a moving bird? If so, damn.

I love it shortened - it's the perfect length! You've inspired me to start looking at granny-length skirts through fresh eyes now and bear in mind their potential :) I find it so hard to get skirts that aren't either too short or too long - this one is just perfect. Beautiful pics too as always!
ReplyDeleteYEAH! Make a mini! Long skirts have major potential. I am so tall that most high street skirts look like skelts anyway! Must learn how to sew like a real lady! xx
DeleteThis location is amazing, love the flowers! I loved the lenght but I guess it's really easier to wear it like that - although both lenghts were awesome on you! Cool outfit :)
ReplyDeleteAw, very diplomatic miss Tanja! xx
DeleteYour top is fab. And the skirt looks great too. Beautiful pictures, as always!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't listened to that song, despite it being hidden away in my 'watch later' playlist for aages. I really like it, you have such a good music taste!
ReplyDeleteAaah, those crocuses are making me so happy! I love the springtime. Your pretty outfit compliments it perfectly, love that skirt and the shoes are lovely as ever. Have a good week! xx
YOU'VE NEVER LISTENED TO BRIGHT EYES!? What a happy not depressed life you must lead! xx

ReplyDeleteEeep, such a lovely outfit, the skirt length is perfect! I love the flower snaps too, so pretty. I can't wait to share the outfit snaps I took when I was pooed on at the weekend by a moving bird - haha! Thankfully it wasn't very traumatic but the things we do for our blogs, eh? ;)

These photos are so lovely! What pretty flowers, are they in your garden? I love your skirt, I prefer the new length. Your heels are gorgeous too! xx
ReplyDeleteNo, no, in a park. With children playing on slides about 100 meters to the left... xx
DeleteLove that skirt on you, the length is pretty too :) I'm sure sitting in bird poop counts, it should do anyway!! xx
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely here, that skirt looks much more wearable! Shame about the bird poo, it must be good luck ;)
ReplyDeleteMaria xxx
i love your top and these are some pretty pictures! i love longer lengths in skirts but never seem to feel as comfortable wearing them and end up doing some cutting and sewing. i like both lengths on this one, though:-) xx
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the colours of your plaid top, it's very unusual and I always think the olivey/mustardy colour is so flattering on fair skin. I hope the bird poo brings you good luck! xxx
ReplyDeleteA girl can hope. I actually think I was pretty lucky after this happened! xx
DeleteSuch a lovely outfit! And a gorgeous place for the photos :)
