English Girls Approximately

(Floral skirt: Vintage/ DIY, Jumper: Nelly, Shoes: Zara, Necklace: ASOS, Purse: Mulberry) #teenvogue

So, I got really into Asian-esque fabrics. Finding the fabric which is made into something you may actually allow to grace your body is tricky. So many terribly shaped items up for re-homing online. I bought this skirt on ebay for virtually nothing, it was a grandma length, in a bad way not an endearing way. Enter scissors. Hello A-line mini skirt. This skirt is naff, it has gold thread in it and is pretty gaudy but I feel the mint jumper mellows it out a little, making it more socially acceptable. Also, it is pretty apparent how taken I was with that tree huh? Looks like candyfloss I don't care, judge me if you will but I took seeds and I am bullying my mother into growing me one.

Now, presenting some Tudor building porn:

P.S. I could have posted a billion other photos but I restrained in acknowledgement that maybe not everyone is like me and enjoys a good English Tudor castle. This was also pre-Russia when I was more easily please, the UK don't do castles like the Russian do.

With Love from,

Em x

  3. Oh wow, those photographs you've taken are beautiful- but then I too am a number one English Tudor castle fan so me drolling over them is probably to be expected! I also love all the roses and the lavender, not to mention your candyfloss tree. I wonder what the species is, it's amazing!
As usual your outfit is just as stunning as your surroundings- you're very talented to create that beautiful skirt out of a less-than-adequate one!
    Where is this? xx
