(Scandinavian style blouse & cut out suede skirt: Vintage, wooden platforms: Marni x H&M, knitted bows: DIY (not by me, I can't knit), purse: Mulberry bayswater)
Guys! Look at those shrooms! Obviously something is enjoying the wet weather we have been experiencing. How adorable are these knitted bows? My multi-talented friend made them for me. So thanks Missy, for the knitted goods and your photography patience. Apologies for the grainy pictures, taking them in falling autumn light was a bad idea, poor mr camera over-compensated for the darkness and resulted in a noticeable change in quality. oh well. You win some, you loose some.
Also, because I am feeling smart I want to draw attention to the linked song and it's relevance. The Beatles took drugs, some mushrooms, my top is Scandinavian and the pictures are in a wood. I am proud even if no-one else is.
With love from,
Emma x
Stunning photos! I really love your skirt xo
ReplyDeleteYou would be right at home living in a gingerbread house in the woods! This is basically what I imagined when I saw your outfit haha
ReplyDeleteAnd oh, your shoes with the little bows are to die for

I'd quite happily live in a gingerbread house to be honest. That would be a good life and I would never go hungry!

Those bows are so cute! Missy did a great job. I've been trying to learn how to knit- so far i've managed to chug out one lumpy scarf and various close-shaves in terms of almost poking my own/someone else's eye out.
ReplyDeleteI love your skirt too, Emma!

That's more impressive than me, I can't knit at all, not a stitch, let alone a lumpy scarf. I do sew though, and can relate to scaring people with over the top brandishing of needles.

Liking the (not spurious at all ;) haha) links with the song/title of this post- I just pick a random song that I've been liking most of the time, but maybe I should start making some links... LOVE your outfit, the texture of the skirt is so nice and autumnal. I've been going for some walks in the woods lately, it's all so pretty this time of year- the copious 'shrooms seem to lend a lovely earthy scent to them. Gorgeous photographs xx
ReplyDeleteI am weird that I love a matching/ relating blog title. Bit anal, but what can you do! I am with you, I love autumn and I am so excited to get out at the weekend with my camera. Stay pretty autumn!

Oh gosh those heels are adorable :D You look like a beautiful woodland fairy x
ReplyDeleteI could get into being a woodland fairy- I spent a bit too much of my youth wishing I was in fact a fairy, I drew them with little outfits and stuff, so my 12 year old self is rather into this comment!

ReplyDeleteLove the skirt.
I love your outfit and the fact you shot in the forrest (I did it too in my latest posts..). Wasn't it too cold to go out bare legged? It's freezing over here!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I am quite hardy, I moan about being cold but that's for sympathy, most of the time I am fine. I love being bare legged!
