Gravity will destroy you

(Gingham top- ASOS, Skirt: H&M Trend, Sunglasses: Rayban, Pumps: Zara, Necklace: ASOS) #teenvogue

This top is kind of slutty, I am not going to dispute it. It encourages an unconventional kind of view of a girls chest. Got a lot of looks at my chest area this day, fortunately I have long hair which covers my decency a little. As this top is on the slutty side, I find the fool proof rule of, if you got a lot going on up top tone down the bottom, applies well here. As such I love this skirt with a crop. It balances out the skin to clothe ratio and makes me look slightly less trampy.

In addition, Russia pictures soon, I am making a guide to Moscow and St Petersburg post as it was something I searched for and couldn't find. Anyway, it's taking ages. I have a lot to say apparently. I'm not going to commit to a day to publish it as it will never happen on time. I swear I am more organised in my personal life.  In my absence you have some pictures of my chest.

Love and stuff,

I wonder what would happen if no-one left?

(Mint Dress: Topshop, Striped jacket: Zara, Purple plated belt: Peter Jensen, Gold shoes: Zara, Egyptian necklace: Miss Selfridge and sunglasses: Raybans (Emma model) #teenvogue

Behold the effects of driving with the windows down on my hair. Not great if we are being honest. There is a major dreadlock situation developing before your eyes in the last picture. As if by magic.

Lookie, canals and stuff, I was actually pretty sad not to see Rosie and Jim sail past with their little sinister faces and duck friend/ side kick/ master. Hands up all 90's kids! Instead of puppets I got a bull dog which was much cuter, albeit more moist but looked rather fetching on his personal barge.

Sailing to nowhere

(Boat dress: Topshop, Sea cat belt: Paul and Joe, Shoes: H&M, Sunglasses: Raybans) #teenvogue

So, decided I wanted a white leather belt, went on eBay, found this delight with under 30 mins to go and the rest is history. It has SEA CATS on it! Even in my mind I could not imagine something so fun! And it kinda had to be paired with this past summer dress, match in heaven! On another note, I feel I have a new habit coming on. I am tall, and mostly leg resulting in any skirt being a lil' on the short side. I knew I pulled the hem of this one a lot and now seeing these photos I understand why. It just covers butt!! So, new resolution, and I appologise to bf now, I should get him to take a 360 collection of pictures to ensure I know how long, or in this guys case, short it is. Oi-vay, tall people issues.

Favourite Things

1. Does what it says on the tin really. Bought these babies in the Office sale under the pretense that they were nice and I liked them and they would be office appropriate. I keep finding myself buying clothes that would be okay for an office environment, my last attempt at office work clothing during last summer as an intern got a few raised eyebrows. This whole graduating thing sucks, apart from these shoes. I wore them in this post, but you couldn't really see them, so here they are in all their pointy-toe glory. There are similar ones in the Zara sale at the moment, but they are kitten heels and lots of people are mean about kitten heels, I have no problem with them.

 2. Emma Raybans. Anyone else ever bought something because they share the same name as you? I think it is quite a common thing for the female population. These sunglasses are almost cat eyes, I loved cat eyes until I tried them on and they looked ugly with my face so I missed out on that whole thing, but these are quite a subtle Cat eye shape and I actually like them. Also, tortoiseshell is a big winner with me, my actual glasses are tortoiseshell as well.

(Tortoiseshell bow bangle: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Clay flower/ pearl bracelet: Primark, Bunny watch, ASOS, Red coral bracelet: DIY, Ring: House of Harlow)

3. Speaking of tortoiseshell; presenting today's Arm party. Doing the whole "Arm Swag" thing is a challenge for me, mainly because I always think I look like one of those men on the streets who have a forearm full of watches. However, I am only wearing one watch and it has bunnies chasing a carrot, certainly not street wear. I also quote "Arm Swag" because the term is embarrassing and shame on the person who started that. Also, as a disclosure, that weight in the top left corner, I do not use, it is holding my door open actually, a much more practical use!

 Happy Sunday kittens!

Girl Sailor

(Striped top: Topshop, Suede cut out skirt: Vintage, Belt: Miu Miu, Purse: Vintage, Sunglasses: Raybans)

This has skirt has to be one of my top vintage finds, I got it off Etsy a couple of years ago. It is made from a raw, unfinished suede and has cutesy cut-outs. It would be perfectly placed it a Chloe collection. Important information when buying vintage leather is the smell scale. This skirt does not smell bad, I'd give it a good 4 out of 10 on the smell scale. Only downside is it is a little ill-fitting. It fits okay on the hips but dragging it up to the waist causes issues, not exclusive to the cut-outs being nearer to the butt area.

Also, Topshop, I kinda wish this top wasn't so cropped, sort of a weird height to stop it, but okay, I can deal. Aloha pale, cold midriff.

Does anyone else have a prized vintage find? I wish my mother had kept more of her clothes from her youth, but she is less of a clothes hoarder than me. Oh, actually maybe I am thankful, means I didn't inherit a black cloak that she had and actually named Doris... food for thought.
