Loneliness is a prize

(Silk skirt: DIY, cropped roll-neck- Primark, Cross Necklace: Topshop, loafers: Zara, Purse: Mulberry)

I have been long admiring this field for photos. It is on the back roads to my boyfriends, on a particularly tight corner but it is hard to miss. This crop comprises of rows upon rows of intensely grown trees. Recently it has been catkins, I was saving it for a snowy day but alas, the Scottish snow has been absent this year so I succumbed to temptation and jumped the gate to take these.

I have of recent began an affair with turtle necks and high waisted skirts. As a recent convert to the turtle neck, I only had one. Then I went shopping and came back with 3 more. Oh dear. I got this Primark one in two colours, it was hard to turn down, especially considering it was the equivalent price of a good sandwich.

With love from,

Emma x

  6. Ah, what a beautiful location! That skirt is really sweet. I absolutely love that you compared your 2 jumpers to the price of a decent sandwich - bahahaha. I know what I'd rather have. ♥

  9. Turtle necks take a while to get used to. I was converted couple of years ago. I love how you styled yours with the skirt. Gorgeous.

  14. That skirt is absolutely amazing and the turtle neck actually looks really cosy and not tight around the neck which usually puts me off them. Don't you just love finding nice places to take photos, I'm desperate to seek out a nice blossom tree to take photos under before they disappear!

  18. That first photo is absolutely divine, one of my most favourites of yours ever, I think! I love densely planted trees, the woods are my favourite place to wander and I've wanted to do an outfit post amongst the trees for the longest time. I hope you enjoy your lovely prints from Karys, her art is so affordable isn't it! xxx

    1. Aw really?! I love woods too- friendly woods, not creepy woods. I love woods with grass floors. I received them really quickly, I need to sort out my wall to get them featured!
