"Hicks wear gingham"

(Dress: The White Pepper, Denim and sheep skin lined jacket: Topshop, Cowboy boots: Traditional Canadian ones, cable knit socks: Pringle)

Fully went for the farmer look with this one. It was too easy to do though. This denim jacket is the only type I really like. Denim jackets to me encourage suits of denim, which no matter how many times Gok Wan endorses, I still don't think I will be okay with. The fake fur kinda breaks it up, so if I did get a personality transplant and actually wore jeans then it might not look THAT bad. Who am I kidding? If you can't convince yourself it's time to go home. Great boots too, really sturdy, like a lobster- Lilo and Stitch 2002.

Come visit me again on Friday (for the last attempt making each outfit look different). Happy Halloween in the meantime!

With love from,

Emma x

  2. Your jacket looks like the cosiest thing ever! It's more Scandinavian than West Country (a total compliment) though I love the country-ish denim and boots. Such a sweet outfit, and I'm liking the very apt setting :) xx

  8. You look gorgeous Emma, I want your hair! You're too pretty :) your pictures just get better and better, the quality of these is amazing. You find the best locations! My favourite bears are definitely brown bears - there are many types of them and they are just too cute and grizzly! I just recently saw my first real life brown bears at the Mountain Zoo - it was pretty awesome! I'm glad to have maybe helped with your Christmas shopping a little :) xxx

    1. Ha, we can swap hair, I find mine an unruly mane! D'aw, my camera has been a bit funny recently so I need to check it out and make sure it's fine. I'd be distraught if it wasn't working properly. Aw, brown ones are cute!! I like sun bears with their long tongues and little crescents on their chest! x
